SUSTAINABLE:
Protect human health

E-Waste accounts for 70% of the toxic substances entering our waste stream. Moreover, personal electronic devices such as laptops, smartphones and tablets account for about 80% of the amount of electronic waste that is thrown away.

Every day that a device remains abandoned in a drawer, closet or garage it remains a future risk for data breach and environmental contamination as they are likely be thrown into the trash.

The Certified Recycling of high-value materials such as gold, silver, copper, palladium, etc. are essential elements in a sustainable economy. Plus, the safe recovery and processing of the dangerous toxins found in e-waste must be a priority to protect human health and quality of life for generations to come.

socially responsible:
electronics reuse for community good

Digital Equity is a cornerstone of the Done with IT.

Even before the pandemic, 34 million Americans lived without computers or internet access. In your community, right now, there are:

  • Children who cannot complete schoolwork at home.

  • Parents who cannot search for jobs.

  • Senior citizens that cannot search for essential services.

  • Young people struggling to make ends meet.

In cooperation with our Certified Recycling partners, Done with IT refurbishes a significant portion of the devices we collect to do good in your community. Working with local/regional governments and non-profits focused on digital inclusion, refurbished devices are redeployed to underserved fans and area residents.

This is recycling at its finest.
